The REACH at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts hosts an outdoor pop-up wine garden and cafe on weekends. So, you can come with your friends and family for a picnic here. Just spread out a blanket on the grass and relax. This winery-inspired setting at the River Pavilion offers some of the best outdoor dining spots in DC. Local and regional artists will show their unique artwork by day, but they’ll be even brighter by night. Year after year, this exhibition is one of DC’s most anticipated events.

See the work of Sonya Clark: Tatter, Bristle, and Mend at The Museum of Women in the Arts
One of the fun things to do in Washington, DC this weekend is to visit the National Museum of Women in the Arts. It features a fascinating exhibit from renowned textile artist Sonya Clark, celebrating her 25-year career. She is famous for work in mixed media that addresses Blackness, history, and identity. Use this unique opportunity to see her most acclaimed sculptures.
