For those visiting the area, the primary attractions are the National Zoo, one of the nation’s oldest Zoo’s, and the National Cathedral. The National Cathedral is a historic cathedral and was designed to resemble 14th century gothic style of architecture that attracts so many visitors every year.

There’s no shortage of restaurants, shops and entertainment option whether you are looking to move into the area or just spend a day.

Upper Northwest is located in the Northwest Quadrant of Washington, DC, located within Upper Northwest is Glover Park, in Upper Northwest Glover Park is the closest neighborhood to downtown and features some of the area’s best nightlife attractions with great restaurants and bars.

 

Transportation

 

Upper Northwest and the neighborhoods that make up the area are serviced by red line on the Washington Metro with stations such Woodley Park-Zoo and Tenleytown-American University serving those neighborhoods and surrounding areas that they are named after.
