A Collegiate Feel

Brookland DC is home to both the Catholic University of America and Trinity College, Roman Catholic schools that have been around since the 19th century, for those who love an older charm.

If you’re concerned about living in a college town, don’t be — Brookland isn’t necessarily known for its college roots.

Brookland Neighborhood

Expect a mix of young professionals mingling with families in Brookland DC. With affordable apartment buildings such as the Monroe Street Market, which offers dining options and a great place for happy hour, the area has become very attractive to postgraduate professionals.

Location

Brookland is along 12th Street NE, and is bounded by either Taylor Street or Michigan Avenue NE at the northeastern-most area of DC.
